Microsoft 365 email is a cloud email service included with UVic’s Microsoft 365 subscription.
This modern and secure email account features:
- 50GB of storage with the ability to archive an additional 100GB
- spam and malware blocking
- better integration with your other Microsoft 365 apps like Teams and SharePoint
- get your voicemail through Teams Phone
- so your messages arrive when you need them
- by using scheduling polls
- manage your personal tasks through

What is the cost?
This service is provided free of charge.
How do I access this service?
Your mailbox is automatically created when you start working at UVic. Sign in to with your NetLinkID@uvic.ca and passphrase to access your email account.
You can also access your @uvic.ca email through an Outlook desktop application or macOS or mobile app.
When is this service available?
This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to .
