Computers and software
The managed workstation service provides patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment, and hardware and software inventory for Windows and Macintosh computers.
This ensures computers are kept up to date to address security vulnerabilities and bug fixes and provides support staff valuable troubleshooting information when solving problems.
Additionally an application is available on managed computers that allows the download and install of approved optional software by the end user of the computer.

Departments supported by University Systems’ Desktop Support Services.
How do I request or access this service?
Departments supported by University Systems’ Desktop Support Services are automatically enrolled in this service.
What is the cost for this service?
This service is provided free of charge with a Desktop Support Services subscription.
When is this service available?
This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to the services’ Informed categories.
