Workshop | Multimedia, Mobility & The Digital Southeast Asian Family | A workshop organized by postdoctoral fellow Monika Winarnita in Melbourne Australia in April 2017 was a second major knowledge mobilization activity run within the project. Dr Winarnita invited stakeholders, junior scholars and project researchers to a two-day workshop entitled ‘Multimedia, Mobility and the Digital Southeast Asian Family’. In addition, a Master Class held at the same time, headed by project collaborator Deirdre McKay, explored research methods and approaches to digital research and transnational families. This highly successful event brought together 20 participants and 20 observers for two days, where a rich set of ideas around multimedia and mobility were explored. |
