This plan is iterative and regularly updated, and it includes high-level initiatives from across the academic portfolio, including from the faculties and libraries.
Annually, the Vice-President Academic and Provost meets with each of her 18 direct reports (e.g., Deans, AVPs) to review their unit's collective accomplishments from the previous years as well as goals for the coming year within the context of our institutional plans.
Informing this plan are accomplishments from 2023/24, goals for 2024/25, the fall 2022 Listening Tour with faculty, the spring 2024 Engagement Tour with academic leaders, priorities from Senate and the Board of Governors, and consultations with Deans' Council and Academic Leadership.
In 2024/25, the Provost will once again visit Faculty Councils to hear what matters most to faculty and librarians as we work collaboratively to advance our institutional plans and implement the Academic Action Plan.
