UVic has 9 academic faculties, a Faculty of Graduate Studies and Division of Continuing Studies, each led by a Dean. Other senior academic leadership positions include Associate Vice-Presidents, the Deptuy Provost and the University Librarian.

Through Faculty Relations and Academic Administration, VPAC supports the recruitment and retention of faculty and librarians and the development of strong academic leadership.
