Archive files using IBM Spectrum Protect: Mac OS X

Storage and backupsStorage and backups

All users should be using backups for day to day backup of their system. Archives should only be used when you want to archive a specific instance of a file/directory (and typically then remove the file/directory from your computer). The archived file/directory will be kept in the backup system for 7 years after which it will be deleted and no longer available.

  1. In the Finder, navigate to the Application folder and then open the IBM Spectrum Protect folder. Double click on IBM Spectrum Protect Tools for Administrators.
