NVivo
NVivo is a qualitative data analysis software package produced by that helps you organize your data according to user-defined themes, keywords, or classification schemes. You can then query this data or explore relationships between items using concept maps or network visualizations.
What is the cost?
The 番茄社区 currently holds a limited site license for NVivo, which can be used free of charge for educational purposes.
This licensing is not applicable for installation on shared devices, computer labs, or equipment for loan.

This software can be installed on UVic-owned and personal computers.
Software download
We are currently licensed for NVivo 14, which is available for both Windows and Mac. The software downloads are only available from on campus or VPN connections. You will be asked to sign in with you NetLink ID to start the download. The download can take several minutes to complete.

Software license renewal
NVivo requires an active license key to work, which renews each year. If you're prompted for a new license key when you launch NVivo, download the NVivo license renew text file below. Open the textfile and copy the code.
