If the search field on Application Navigator landing page is frozen, please hit Control and F5 keys simultaneously on your keyboard to correct this problem.
I'm receiving a 'Service Invocation Failed' error. What do I do?
In order to resolve this issue, please work with your IT support person to ensure you have the following 3 URLs in your workstation Internet Explorer trusted sites:
- ssomanager.uvic.ca
- banner.uvic.ca
- www.uvic.ca
If the issue persists after making the above noted change, please clear your browser cache and cookies.
How to clear cache and cookies in Chrome browser:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click 3 vertical dots icon.
- Click “More tools” and then “Clear browsing data".
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
How to clear cache and cookies in Internet Explorer:
- Select Tools (via the Gear icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history...
NOTE: You can also access this menu by holding Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
- Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favourites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, and then click Delete.
