Graduate student tuition income offset plan
The graduate student tuition income offset plan (GSTIOP) lets you pay tuition fees in four equal instalments over each four month term. These four instalments are due on the last day of each month of the term and can be paid using one of our accepted payment methods.
This plan is only for graduate students.
How to enrol
To enrol you must complete a GSTIOP authorization form and submit it by the deadlines below. The application form will cover 3 terms if you apply in the fall, 2 terms if you apply in the spring and 1 term if you apply in the summer. If you want to continue for the following September, a new application form must be submitted. The GSTIOP application form expires for all students August 31 of each year.

Enrollment deadlines
To enroll in the GSTIOP you must submit an authorization form by the following deadlines:
- Fall term: September 20
- Spring term: January 20
- Summer session: May 20
Fees
A $50 application fee is payable upon submission of each authorization form. You will not be charged late service fees as long as your payments remain in good standing.
Cancellation
If your monthly payment is not received by the Tuition office your application will be cancelled and you will need to pay the outstanding fees immediately. All holds and late service charges will be applied to your account.
You can cancel your payment plan at any time by notifying the Tuition Fees Office by email. At that time you’ll be immediately responsible for paying your tuition and any other outstanding fees.
