Study space on campus
You'll find lots of quiet study spaces on campus where you can focus on your learning.
Libraries
The Mearns Centre-McPherson Library and Law Library are open. Drop in at either location during operating hours to find lots of great space to study.
Bookable library space
Groups of two or more people can book study rooms on a first-come, first-served basis up to one week in advance. We've also set aside eight study rooms for students who need a space to take online classes.
Computer labs
Computer labs are available for drop-in use. Each drop-in lab has unique features like dual monitors, docking stations and extra space for studying. Windows and macOS computers are available. Access software for your courses including Adobe CC, SPSS, SAS, Maple, MATLAB, Minitab and more.
Students can book project rooms and group work tables. Each space has a full audio-visual system and whiteboard. There's a bookable virtual reality studio and digital media studio, as well.
Public areas & lounges
Public seating is on offer in common areas of buildings across campus. In addition, some academic departments have private lounges and study areas for their students. Your department secretary will know if there is one in your area.
In addition to great food options, you'll also find a range of seating in Mystic Market and the Cove - plus the Cove is usually open in the evenings.
