Applications are required for in-course scholarships listed in this section. These scholarships are governed by the general regulations for scholarships, medals, and prizes.

- The deadline, unless stated otherwise, is May 31.
- Some of the following awards may require application through the School of Public Health and Social Policy; please review the eligibility criteria and application instructions below for further information.

One or more awards are given to Indigenous undergraduate students in the School of Public Health and Social Policy who demonstrate financial need, with preference given to mature (23 years or older) Indigenous women. Part-time students (registered in a minimum of 6.0 units for credit in two terms) are eligible. Approval of the recipient(s) is made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the School of Public Health and Social Policy.

One or more awards are given to undergraduate students in the School of Public Health & Social Policy who have a demonstrated interest in health equity. Preference is for students with demonstrated financial need.
Approval of the recipients will be made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon the recommendation of the School of Public Health & Social Policy.

One or more awards are given to undergraduate students in the School of Public Health and Social Policy who are single parents from Western Canada. Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need.
