A safe and updated Transit Exchange

The campus transit exchange is a vital transportation hub in Greater Victoria and serves students, faculty, staff and the broader community. In partnership with BC Transit, UVic has refreshed the old and aging infrastructure that was located at the bus exchange in front of the Bookstore.

The upgrade has refreshed existing bus bays and expanded the layby on Finnerty Road to provide two bus laybys for BC Transit. The project also included upgrades to the existing transit stops on Ring Road to accommodate two buses lengthwise and refresh the bus shelters.
