About Richard
In Grade 12, I wasn't sure whether I even wanted to go to university. My decision to get out of my comfort zone and pursue a degree in business administration changed my life in the most exciting ways. Now, get to work with students and their families as they navigate the post-secondary exploration process. Deciding what's next after high school is a pivotal point in one's life, and I'm proud to help you explore UVic and decide whether it just might be the right place for you.
My advice to future university students
Take a step back and spend some time thinking about what you hope to gain from the university experience. Big picture stuff. Really contemplating this can help you develop your "checklist" of things that you need to see in a potential university.
It's okay if you don't have a crystal-clear picture in your mind about your future career. What's important is that you have opportunities to explore, adapt and refine your goals and aspirations as you gain knowledge and experience. Choose a path that you think will help you grow and develop, in an environment that feels right for you.
