About Alejandro
I wanted to attend a university with a good co-op program that would enable me to gain valuable engineering experience prior to graduation. Upon discovering UVic's global connections and impressive co-op offerings, I was drawn to the university. Its inspiring campus and scenic surroundings solidified UVic as my top choice
After graduating from UVic, my passion for engineering led me to pursue opportunities within the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. Now, as a recruiter, I have the privilege of guiding aspiring engineers and computer scientists on their academic paths while continuing my work with UVic.
My advice to future university students
My best advice is to make the most of what UVic offers! Connect with your professors during office hours, get help from tutoring services, and join fun activities like intramural sports to balance your studies and relaxation. UVic is here to support your success every step of the way – make sure to take advantage of the opportunities.
