Global Language and Culture Requirement
The Global Language and Culture requirement helps Humanities students build intercultural knowledge, experiences and skills that prepare you for the workplace.
You can satisfy the Global Language and Culture Requirement in 2 ways:
- on-campus option: complete 4.5 units of coursework in language and culture outside your primary area of study
- off-campus option: complete the equivalent of 4.5 units of coursework through:
- an exchange at an international university
- a UVic Humanities study abroad program
- a UVic Humanities field school
