Alborz Moulana (exercise science, health and recreation)
EPHE graduate student Alborz Moulana traveled to Babol, Iran to work as a climbing and rescue coach with Climbing Babol. He taught climbing, canyoning and rope rescue to professional climbers and led challenging adventure programs.
In this photo, he lay down on top of the waterfall to enjoy a break from the high heat.
Teaching fundamental skills
This co-op enriched my Victoria University experience by providing practical, hands-on learning that complemented my academic studies. It honed my problem-solving and leadership skills, which were invaluable in group projects and campus activities.
Additionally, the experience strengthened my passion for adventure sports and motivated me to pursue related extracurricular opportunities at the university.
The impact of co-op
I would tell other students that co-op programs offer invaluable real-world experience and networking opportunities that can significantly enhance your career prospects.
It's a chance to apply classroom knowledge in practical settings and develop skills that are highly sought after by employers.
