Overview
Production and Technical Support (PTS) unit
Responsibilities
Database Management: PTS is responsible for installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing management of the following
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
Application Management: PTS is responsible for managing and supporting 50+ vendor provided enterprise applications. Some examples include:
- ERP Modules: Student, Finance, HR, Student Aid, Document Management, Workflow
- Recruitment system
- UVic Mobile
- Timetable scheduling system
ONECard - Fundraising Management system
- Leaning Management system
- Parking system
- Cascade CMS
- Student Housing system
- Incident Management system
- Catering system
- Workforce Management system
- Residence Cleaning system
Operations
- Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support for all vendor provided enterprise systems.
Hours
Production and Technical Support maintains on-site support Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Outside of these hours, we are available to assist with problem resolution on a best-effort basis.
