Before moving to Victoria, Jill was a Martian photographer - literally. Indeed, she ran the science cameras on NASA's Curiosity Rover for over 6 years, documenting important geological targets... and also taking 'selfies' of the rover. Prior to that, Jill worked on geotechnical, geoarchaeological, and geomorphological projects in academic, government, and industrial settings. She enjoys being back on 'Earth' now and working to inspire a new generation of scientists interested in exploring our own planet.
