Undergraduate students

The Bunch of Anthropology Students (B.O.A.S) is the undergraduate course union for the Department of Anthropology at UVic. B.O.A.S. is a place for students to be heard, and connect with the department, so we encourage you to attend meetings and events and let us know what you want us to plan. We are always looking for new members, all anthropology (and curious!) students are welcome and encouraged to get involved!

Our next upcoming meeting is Wednesday, November 20 in Cornett A319 from 4-5 pm. Join us for a chill study session before finals and a chance to meet other folks in the department!

Follow us on Instagram or shoot us an email at boasuvic@gmail.com

Graduate students

The UVic Anthropology Graduates' Exchange (AGE) is organized and run by anthropology graduate students.

They aim to create a community and sense of collegiality among graduate students. AGE members organize social and academic events for graduate students, advocate for student space, and ensure that graduate students are visible and heard as part of the Department of Anthropology.

Join several exciting initiatives including pre-colloquium Monday coffee meetups, producing our student-run peer-reviewed journal PlatForum.

If you’d like to get involved, please email us (attn. William Campbell).
