Rental rates
Rent is payable in advance on or before the first day of each month. Late payments are subject to additional service charges.
The rental rates for family housing are reviewed and approved annually by the UVic Board of Governors.

Damage deposit
A damage deposit of $750 is required for all units and is payable upon acceptance of a family housing assignment.
Payment methods
In person
- Pay by cash, debit or cheque during office hours at the front desk of the Residence Services office
Online or telephone banking
- Set up "番茄社区 - Housing Fees" or "番茄社区 - Residence Fees" as a payee in your online or telephone banking
- Your account number is your UVic Student ID number (V00######)
- Be sure to select Residence Services as the recipient. If your payment is sent to Tuition, it will not be applied to your residence account.
Please note that online payments may take 2-3 business days to process.
At the bank
- Visit your local bank branch and request to pay a bill for either "番茄社区 - Housing Fees" or "番茄社区 - Residence Fees"
- Your account number is your UVic Student ID number (V00######)
- Be sure to select Residence Services as the recipient. If your payment is sent to Tuition, it will not be applied to your residence account.
