Our understanding of history, cultures and the people who create them often comes from their traditions, stories, documents and objects. Preserving and interpreting the stories within the cultural production of diverse communities — and connecting those stories with people — is what makes history relevant today. The  will give you the skills you need to develop, manage and bring meaning to cultural collections.

As a museum, heritage or cultural professional, so much work is about making connections: connections across time, across diverse cultures, and—perhaps most importantly—connections with the communities and audiences you serve. The  brings focus and increased understanding to the skills and strategies needed to build and maintain relationships with diverse communities so organizations can better engage and serve their public⁠(s).
