Vancouver Island Trans Resources page is hosted by the Chair of Transgender Studies at UVic. This resource and information page is for trans, non-binary, Two-Spirit and other gender-diverse people and their allies to access support, advocacy, health and wellness resources, and other services.

Health support and services for trans, Two-Spirit and non-binary people's health

provides gender affirming care services to trans, non binary, Two-Spirit, and other gender-diverse folks. 

Trans Care BC is a program of PHSA supporting the delivery of equitable and accessible care, surgical planning, and peer and community support for transgender and gender-diverse people across BC. Trans Care BC also has a Care Coordination Team to connect people to gender-affirming care and support as close to home as possible. They can be reached on 1-866-999-1514 and they are available during business hours Monday-Friday or on .

Through Vancouver Coastal Health,​Trans Specialty Care offers knowledgeable and specialized care to transgender and gender diverse people living in the Vancouver Coastal Health region. They work in teams including nurses, counsellors, physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers. They are a consultation service and work in collaboration with your family doctor. If you do not have a family doctor (GP) or nurse practitioner (NP) they can help you find options for primary care. They offer services at two locations:

The has made an ongoing commitment to ensure their services are as open and accessible as possible. As such, all of VSAC's client services - including support, advocacy, hospital/clinic accompaniment, individual/group counselling, victim services, and more - are open to all women and to all Trans, Two-Spirit, and Gender diverse survivors.

Outside of client services, VSAC's prevention department offers education on consent as well as gender/sexuality through , and inclusion training for service providers through (email).
