How to apply
Applications and inquiries are accepted year-round. Most students enter the program in the fall (September); January entry is also possible. In order to be eligible for entrance awards for September entry, it is recommended to apply by February 15.
Students that have applied for NSERC or CIHR Master’s Scholarships (CGS-M) must apply to UVic and identify potential supervisors by February 15.
Finding a potential supervisor
In order to be admitted into the program, students must be accepted by a supervisor (i.e. regular faculty member). To identify potential supervisors, prospective students are strongly encouraged to directly contact faculty members whose research interests are aligned with theirs. Faculty members’ research interests and contact information can be found . Students that are supervised by UVic adjunct faculty members require co-supervision by UVic regular faculty members.
