Jordan Stanger-Ross

Jordan Stanger-Ross is professor of history and Provost’s Engaged Scholar at the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø. In 2022, he received an Impact Award from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada for a decade of collaborative and community-engaged research on the dispossession of Japanese Canadians in the 1940s. Along with Audrey Kobayashi (Queen’s University), he currently leads Past Wrongs, Future Choices, a partnership on the violation of the rights of civilians of Japanese descent in countries across the Americas and the Pacific.
