Amy Janzwood
Position
Amy Janzwood was a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow at the CFGS and a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Political Science. She is also affiliated with the Munk School’s Environmental Governance Lab and the Climate Social Science Network.
Amy is a political scientist specializing in comparative energy and environmental policy and politics. Her research explores the politics of fossil fuel development, including the role of contentious politics, political economy, and interpretive politics. Her book project, Mega Pipelines, Mega Resistance, examines the causal impact of resistance to fossil fuel infrastructure.
Amy holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Global Governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
