Dr. Kavelaars works at the Canadian Astronomy Data Centre within NRC and is an expert in solar system science and large data systems. He is a co-PI of the 40+ member Outer Solar System Origin Survey, Co-I of NASA’s New Horizons Kuiper Extend Mission and a collaborator in the construction of a multi-telescope array in Baja California (TAOS-II).
