The is a semi-automatic plunge freezing instrument for preparing frozen hydrated samples. It can be used to obtain vitrified ice by plunging in liquid nitrogen or liquid ethane. It is located in another building because it needs to be placed in a fumehood during operations. Contact us if you are interested in cryogenic work.
