David Miller is a PhD candidate in Political Science and CSPT. He holds an MA in Theory & Criticism from the University of Western Ontario’s Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism where he researched the affective politics of guilt in relation to neoliberal economies of debt. His current academic interests include: anarchism, post-anarchist theory, philosophies of life and anti-life, queer and feminist theories of subjectivity and the body, the politics of friendship, utopianism/dystopianism, centaurs, judgement, responsibility, the philosophy of art and aesthetics, continental and existential philosophy, and the intersections between these areas (among others), with a particular focus on the transition from theory to practice in the political field through ethical frameworks. As a sessional instructor, he has also taught courses on Democracy & Disobedience, Queer Theory and LGBT Politics, and Queer Literature for the Political Science and Gender Studies departments at the 番茄社区. He may or may not be a musician and visual artist.
