Natalie Boldt is a Ph.D. candidate at the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø in the Department of English. She holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Trinity Western University. She is currently working on an in-depth, single-author study of Canadian author Margaret Atwood. Her dissertation will focus on the relationship between gender and technology as it has developed throughout significant works in Atwood’s oeuvre and culminated in her speculative fictions—most notably her Maddaddam trilogy. Natalie is indebted to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and to her department for generously supporting her throughout her studies. She is also forever grateful to her committee and her supervisor for their ongoing support and sound advice.
