Teaching assistantships
The standard rate of pay for all Graduate Teaching Assistantships is $30.87 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay. This is as per Schedule 1 of the new Collective Agreement for CUPE 4163 comps 1 & 2, found at: CUPE 4163 Component 1 & 2 Collective Agreement 2022 - 2025.

Applicants for all courses are asked to include the following if you do not already have the documents on file with EPLS:
- a current curriculum vitae
- proof of highest degree obtained
- names of and contact information for at least three references
- any other information that may help the Department to assess your qualifications for teaching the course or that can speak about your teaching-related experience
It is anticipated that staffing will be completed by July 12, 2024. All positions are subject to meeting minimum enrollment requirements, program requirements, and funding.

ED-D 101 lab instructors
ED-D 101: Learning Strategies for University Success is a popular first year course that teaches students skills for success in university, including reading, note taking, studying, time management, and assignment work in their current undergraduate courses.
Students learn to apply theory to examine their own learning and experiment with new strategies for learning.
Dr. Allyson Hadwin often teaches ED-D 101, and EPLS graduate students teach the lab components.
