Professional Specialization Certificate in Special and Inclusive Education (undergraduate)
The Professional Specialization Certificate in Special and Inclusive Education is a professional program for educators who wish to enhance their ability to accommodate every young person with a specialized learning need within their classroom every day.
We've designed the certificate program specifically for working professionals and it is designed to be completed part-time. All courses in the certificate program are offered online (with the exception of one course, ED-D 415, that requires approximately three weeks of on-campus instruction in the summer).
Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education (undergraduate)
Our Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education is designed for working professionals. All courses are offered online on a part-time schedule and feature coursework in the advanced intervention of specific learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, behaviour problems, assistive technologies, and inclusive education. Applicants to the diploma progam must first complete the certificate program.
Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LATHE)
This dynamic certificate program focuses on the pedagogical knowledge and practical skills required to teach effectively in higher education. It combines knowledge and practice about teaching and learning across the disciplines to create a future professoriate fluent in the foundational principles of post-secondary instruction. The LATHE program will challenge participants to reflect on their practical teaching activities in a scholarly way within their disciplinary context.
