Physical education (MA)

In the Master of Arts (MA) in Physical Education program, you'll learn the skills you need to help others stay active and healthy. The program will prepare you to teach in public or private schools at the K-12 levels. 

You'll complete courses that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to write and orally defend a thesis.

Typical program length is 2–2½ years.

Courses and program structure

As part of the MA in Physical Education program, your courses will examine physical activity from a variety of angles. Co-operative education and work terms

Co-operative education  is an optional addition to the the physical education (MA) program. If you have questions about how you can alternate your coursework with paid work terms related to physical education, please contact the program's  .
