SDG 17 in action at Co-op and Careers

Co-op and Career Services offers placements locally and abroad, providing opportunities for students to work for employers addressing SDGs in government, private sector and non-governmental organizations around the world.

Local action towards the SDG's

is a Community-based Participatory Research project with a special focus on UN SDGs, assisting communities with enhancing their capacity for social governance and environmental stewardship.

Youth championing the SDGs

is a student-led initiative that encouraged members of UVic to embark on a creative exploration and sharing of their experiences concerning life amidst climate change.

Co-op student advances SDG training in Geneva

UVic graduate student Stephen Joyce combines work terms with a provincial government ministry, a federal department and an international term at UNITAR - all linked to values that underlie the SDGs.

CIFAL Victoria

In its second year, CIFAL Victoria increased collaborations, training hours and UN-accredited course offerings to UVic members, staff from international universities, and the community in general.

Training and partnering for the SDGs

CIFAL Victoria is the first accredited International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders on North America's west coast, dedicated to advance UN SDGs.
