SDG 10 in action at Co-op and Career

Co-op and Career Services offers placements locally and abroad, where students have the opportunity to work in projects that support underrepresented groups and reduce inequalities.

Indigenous access

UVic supports Indigenous Students of all genders through multiple academic and cultural dedicated funding, bursaries and awards, health and wellness support, housing, indigenous events, and a range of activities in the First Peoples House.

Indigenous graduates

Indigenous students' graduation rates have increased by 38% in the past 10 years in both graduate and undergraduate programs across UVic.

Centre for Accessible Learning

Equity and social justice

The School of Indigenous Governance is Canada’s leading school for the advancement of Indigenous knowledges, creativity, and activism, supporting the training and education of future Indigenous leaders.

The is an interdisciplinary collective of scholars who are interested in or practice community-based health research.

UVic extends university-level learning opportunities to residents of British Columbia who are at least 23 years of age and may not qualify under the regular categories of admission.
