Co-op and Career Services offers placements locally and abroad, where students have the opportunity to work in projects that support underrepresented groups and reduce inequalities.
Indigenous access
UVic supports Indigenous Students of all genders through multiple academic and cultural dedicated funding, bursaries and awards, health and wellness support, housing, indigenous events, and a range of activities in the First Peoples House.
Indigenous graduates
Indigenous students' graduation rates have increased by 38% in the past 10 years in both graduate and undergraduate programs across UVic.
Centre for Accessible Learning
UVic’s Centre for Accessible Learning offers support to students with disabilities and health issues, ensuring an equitable, inclusive and usable education.
