Our people

By involving people from various disciplines across the university, we integrate diverse backgrounds, knowledge and training into the Global Development Studies (GDS) minor.

The program is made possible through the commitment of an engaged group of scholars from departments in the social sciences—political science, environmental studies, geography—as well as humanities (gender studies, history) and the natural sciences.

Students from any faculty or department can take global development studies courses or can declare global development studies as their minor.

Teaching opportunities

As an interdisciplinary program, our program has teaching staff from many disciplines. Positions for teaching staff, such as sessional instructors, will be listed on this page as they become available.
