The Department of Chemistry reaffirms the University’s acknowledgment with respect of the Lkwungen peoples on whose traditional territory the 番茄社区 stands, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

Department of Chemistry Equity Review

We are proud to have developed, in collaboration with the Equity and Human Rights (EQHR) office, an Equity Review process for departments at the 番茄社区. During this process, an external reviewer assesses the currents status of the Department of Chemistry in terms of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and proposes recommendations for future efforts in this area.
