Kimberly Copeland
Position
Kim Copeland is a Political Science and Commerce major at UVic. She wrote her preliminary honours thesis on kinships Pakistani Muslim women create as a movement of solidarity against oppressive forms of governance. Kim has worked in the Ministry of Agriculture; the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training; and currently with the New Democratic Party of British Columbia. She cannot wait to challenge herself to expand networks and social groups and to learn more about global migration civil society and dynamics.
