Accessibility
- In Denmark, services to students with disabilities is provided by a national special educational support program (SPS), as part of the Danish healthcare system. Unfortunately, exchange students are not covered by this program. This means that any service that costs money is not available for exchange students. Students needing those services will be required to pay for and/or arrange those services themselves.
- Students who have been approved for academic accommodations for e.g. extended exam time can, however, apply to their AU Study Board to have those same accommodations apply at AU. They are advised to contact their AU academic coordinator, who will be able to assist them with all issues related to their studies at AU.

Credits
Credits at AU:
- Full-time option: 30 ECTS at AU*
*Exchange students must register in at least 25 ECTS per term to meet Danish immigration requirements.
Course Evaluations at UVic:
- Once accepted, UVic exchange students will be able to submit AU courses to UVic for evaluation. The results will indicate how many UVic units each AU course is worth, as well as the course equivalency.
- This evaluation process opens in late September for Spring exchange terms and in late March for Fall exchange terms. Evaluations take 4-6 weeks for results to be made available.
- Course evaluations results are tentative until the end of the exchange term, when a final evaluation is conducted by UVic Records using your AU transcript, and the results are applied to your UVic transcript.
