The Indigenous Student Mini-University Summer Camp, hosted by the Office of Indigenous Academic and Community Engagement (IACE) at the 番茄社区 (UVic) is a transformative initiative designed specifically for Indigenous students in Grades 9 to 12 who reside in BC, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. This week-long program offers a holistic experience that goes beyond traditional classroom learning, providing participants with a comprehensive introduction to university life.

The Mini-University Summer Camp encompasses a diverse range of activities, including academic, physical, creative, cultural, and social components. This multifaceted approach aims to cater to the varied interests and strengths of Indigenous students, allowing them to explore different facets of university education. Through engaging academic sessions, students gain insights into potential areas of study, sparking curiosity and igniting a passion for learning.
