Child and Youth Care
The School of Child and Youth Care researches practices that support the well-being of children, youth, families and communities. Our community- and social justice-based approach embraces diverse perspectives and life experiences.
You’ll gain a practice-based understanding of issues related to child and youth care. Our programs offer a range of conceptual perspective to expand your personal practices.
Our graduates work in a range of settings, including:
- mental health services
- child welfare
- early years programs
- post-secondary institutions
- private practices
- provincial, national and international governmental agencies
- non-governmental agencies
