Sexual health in a biopsychosocial context, sex therapy, intersections between sexuality, gender and trauma, traditional masculinity ideology, alexithymia, cognitive behavioural and mindfulness-based psychotherapy approaches, feminist theory and intersectional analysis. 

As a teaching professor, Julia does not supervise graduate students.
