Board of Governors

The 番茄社区 operates under the authority of the University Act and is governed by a Board of Governors and a Senate.

In accordance with the University Act, the Board of Governors is responsible for the management, administration and control of the property, revenue, business and affairs of the university. This fifteen-member body consists of the chancellor, the president, two elected faculty members, one elected staff member, two students elected from the university's undergraduate or graduate student societies, and eight members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.  Members of the Board of Governors serve voluntarily and do not receive remuneration for their service.

In addition to meeting as a whole, the Board has established the following standing committees:

  • Executive and Governance Committee
  • Finance Committee
  • Operations and Facilities Committee
  • Audit Committee
  • Compensation and Review Committee

The Board of Governors Chair for 2023-24 is Paul Ramsey and Vice-Chair is Erinn Pinkerton.

Beginning their term as new Board members are: Erin Campbell, Roshan Danesh, Val Napoleon, Kyle Risby, Laylee Rohani and Ivan Watson.
