Executive compensation

In British Columbia, organizations defined by the Public Sector Employers Act are statutorily required to disclose all compensation that is paid to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and the next four highest ranking or highest paid executives with decision-making authority earning an annualized base salary of $125,000 or greater during a fiscal year.

UVic’s annual executive compensation disclosure report is based on the best practices of transparency and full accountability for compensation paid to executives. These principles are also key to the 2023 Executive Compensation Plan and to UVic’s decision to voluntarily publish the President’s travel related expenses.

In 2015, the 番茄社区 developed a new policy to avoid any potential conflict of interest for senior management employees associated with offers of employment from other entities.
