  • posters

Can an instructor post examples of a students' work? What if the work is from a different semester?

An instructor may only post examples of students' work if they obtain the student's written permission. Permission may be granted for a single semester or for a longer period of time. Consider requesting perpetual permission, and keep records of all permissions granted.

Can students include copyrighted materials in their assignments and presentations?

Generally yes, provided they only use short excerpts, and provide citations.  Students should not post third-party materials to publicly-accessible websites or file-sharing sites.
