ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT
Non-interactive real time streaming H.263+ coded video, unicast or multicast over theInternet, must use an encapsulation scheme that has a high payload efficiency and an errorrecovery scheme for datagram loss. The seminar addresses the encapsulation problem by presenting two existing packetizationschemes. A Markov chain, which is used to simulate the Internet's datagram loss process, compares the two existing packetization schemes robustness against datagram loss. The error recovery problem is addressed by comparing existing 'Decoder Error Concealment'schemes to a proposed scheme. Robustness against datagram loss results and 'Decoder Error Concealment' results providesthe necessary information to be used with the provided visual subjective assessment.
