MEng in Biomedical Systems
Course registration
Students in the Master of Engineering in Biomedical Systems are expected to complete their degree within 24 months.
Full-time students must register in a minimum of 3.0 units (2 courses) per term. Please refer to the academic calendar for program requirements.
You will need to complete all 5 core courses including the technical project, and 6.0 units of electives.
Academic regulations
As a student of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, you must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.0 (B) for every session in which you are registered. Students with a sessional or cumulative GPA below 5.0 will not be allowed to register in the next session until the program evaluates your academic performance and the dean approves your continuation of graduate studies.

Technical Project
BME598 is a core course in the MEng Biomedical Systems program. This is a significant technical design project in Biomedical Engineering completed under the supervision of a faculty member. This design experience is based on the knowledge and skills acquired in earlier coursework. Projects may originate from faculty members, students, or external sources.
