Meet with employers and professionals with a humanities or fine arts degree to network and learn about possible career paths. The panelists will share their career experiences and tips about working with employers who hire students in the Humanities and Fine Arts.

Anahita is a curator and art historian who lives and works on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. She holds a Master’s in Art History and Visual Studies from the �� (UVic) (2020) and a Master’s in Architectural and Urban Conservation (2017) alongside a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering (2014) from Iran.

Currently, she serves as the Curator of Collections at UVic Legacy Art Galleries, where her research focuses on BIPOC art and community, decolonizing museums, and anti-racism practices. With a deep commitment to museum collections, she has also completed a Professional Specialization Certificate in Collections Management from UVic (2024).

Beyond her professional pursuits, Anahita enjoys beading, crocheting, and exploring Vancouver Island’s natural beauty through biking and hiking.

As the Head of Engagement and Learning at UVic Libraries, Courtney Lundigran works to ensure our students are having the best possible experience in their learning and research at UVic. Courtney holds a BA in History and French and a MA in History from Memorial University, as well as a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University.

Heather Feeney is the Collections and Exhibits Manager at the .

Logan Swain is the Artistic Producer with . As a storyteller with a burning desire to make a difference in the world by telling stories that value truth and honesty, Logan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a Major in Theatre (Design Focus and Co-op Designation) from the ��, where he pursued a comprehensive theatre education with a focus on design and production.

Mauren Landa McGavin is the Production Services Coordinator with the .

After graduating with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from UVic and an MA in Arts Management and Leadership from Queens University, Rebecca currently works as the Development Officer with the .
