My geography degree really set the foundation for my career in emergency management. Learning about hazards, earth sciences and social geography provided a deeper understanding of the impacts of extreme events. In addition, I use skills in research, writing and communication daily in my work, all of which were emphasized during my time at the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø.
