Professor Gary MacGillivray wins teaching awards
Professor has been awarded the 2011 among faculty members, artists-in-residence and librarians. Gary was also the cowinner, along with Laurence Coogan (Earth and Ocean Sciences), of the 2010/2011 . Gary is the latest recipient of these teaching awards from the department of Mathematics and Statistics. William Pfaffenberger won the Hickman award in 1994, while Bruce Johnson (1995/1996), David Leeming (2003/2004), Margaret Wyeth (2007/2008), and Jill Simmons (2009/2010) are past winners of the FoS award. Congratulations Gary!
The FoS award was awarded at the Faculty of Science Fall Recognition Get-Together on October 14. The Harry Hickman Alumni Award will be handed out at the on November 22 at the Victoria Conference Centre.
