Tadao Miyamoto has a BA in Sociology from St. Andrew's () University in Osaka. All his degrees in Linguistics are from the 番茄社区: a second BA, an MA in Acoustic Phonetics, and a PhD in Syntax (the dissertation is available from ). He has also collaborated with Joseph Kess on a Japanese psycholinguistics project.
Dr. Miyamoto is now a Professor in the at Tohoku University in Japan. He is also a member of the COE project on Language, Brain, and Cognition (/).
